cosmetic skincare+ making – When you think of beauty tips, do you think of the sweet stuff? Just for starters, I know I like to have a nice chocolate facial. Then there are the sweet things like vanilla steams, spice wraps and sugar scrubs.
However, all those things are not cheap. My last holiday spa visit cost me over 150 dollars, and I did not even get a full massage! But you can, fortunately, give yourself the same sweet treatments at home with these beauty tips. The basis for these delectable facials and masques? Honey, naturally.
Here is a list of a few things you an do at home with honey that will leave you feeling luscious and beautiful:
* Beauty Tips Using Honey #1: Bubbles are great - If you want really soft and smooth skin, just add a cup of honey to your bubble bath. Use a loofah to exfoliate while you’re in there and you will have extra creamy and glowing skin. Then add 4 tablespoons of whole milk powder and you will feel like Cleopatra, who once used milk bathes to help keep her skin clear. If you bathe in any edible type products, just make sure you rinse down really well when you are done.
* Beauty Tips Using Honey #2: Use layers. - You can make a wonderful egg white mask using ingredients right from your own kitchen. Open up your pores first by putting a hot cloth on your face for 3 minutes. The put the mask on. Let it dry for ten minutes. Wash it off your face with lukewarm water and you an admire your youthful skin.
* Honey Beauty Tip #3: You can make your own skin toner. - Honey, buttermilk and rosewater mixed together can do wonders for your skin. Tupperware with screw-on lids work best. Shake together until thoroughly. Its going to be a cloudy color and really runny. You may then apply it with a cotton ball and your skin will be beautiful and toned.
The best honey should be used for these treatments. For less than 20 dollars, you can get a good-sized jar of organic honey that has not been treated with chemicals or preservatives. Use this jar of honey for these beauty tips for a good while.
