what does it mean when the chest pain occurs suddenly if i take a breath that last about 10 seconds?

    It could be a number of different things. If you are young and in relatively good health and don’t have any other symptoms or any heart disease, my best guess would be costochondritis. This condition is harmless. It occurs when there is inflammation in the cartilage that connect a rib to your sternum. If the pain becomes unbearable, you can take something such as Motrin or Ibuprofen and use a heating pad. The pain should subside in a few days to a few weeks.

    dont worry i used to always get that its just like an air bubble that causes a sharp pain in your chest what i would do is sit up and breath in really hard even if it hurts what it does is it pops it…i think and you feel much better afterwards byeee

    whoa i toatally get that too! does it happen some times when your laying down and try to sit up and you feel it in your back too?

    I get that, especially when I go out in the cold and I have asthma.
