I’ve had angiograms that showed no blockage. EKG’s clean. But i do have high blood pressure. I sometimes get heavy pressure in my chest. I will chew 2 aspirins and the pain will soon ease up, but then I am incredibly thirsty. I can drink glass after glass of water, or any cold drink and still am thirsy. Anyone with medical background have any idea about these symptoms. No medical facility can seem to diagnose anything but High BP

Do you smoke at all? This may be a factor.
I am not 100% sure .. but try bringing this concept to your doctor and see what he/she says:
There could be a possibility that you have a decreased concentration of proteins in your blood. In doing so the liquid from your plasma will move from low concentration proteins (vasculature) to your ECF your extra cellular space. Therefore casuing swelling and pain. But I don’t think that you have edema.
Furthermore, from what it seems like you drinking water isn’t quenching your thirst. Now depending on the amount that you urinate there could be a renal problem with a hormone that is not allowing you to absorb all the liquids that you take. So basically everything you take in one end is going out the drain.
There can also be an imbalance in your ion concentrations (so that would indicate your diet).
Asprin is relieving your pain b/c its allowing you vasculature to relax.
The pressure in your chest could also have to do with you lungs. As I suggested a possibility above, if liquid begins to enter it causes that heavy pressure.
The thing about BloodPressure my friend is that many times its idiopathic (this is a fancy word doctors use for something they cant explain)
If your thirst is not being quenched I would def get your BUN levels checked to test kidney function and also do a test for hyper/hypo- primary/secondary aldosteronism.
Something completely out there: it could also be possible that the chest pains are completely independent of your blood pressure, kidney’s, etc.
See sometimes pain perceived on a part of the body could really be coming from somewhere else. Because a lot of nerves cross and give off communicating branches. It could be pain thats coming from a nerve in your arm or back or anotehr organ that has sensory fibers traveling near your’ chest.
Once again, I am not yet an expert, but def trying to get there. I really do hope you figure out whatever the problem may be. Do take these suggestions to your doctor as a lot of them forget to look at the basic picture after leaving med school.
If you don’t mind keep me posted as to what you health care professional says to the above suggestions. I would like to see if my way to think these medical problems is in the right direction.
Good health to you,
What’s your diet like? Do you consume a lot of sodium (eat fast food, canned and frozen food) much?
It would help a lot to know what your health routine is!
And those could be symptoms of chronic dehydration.
