when you are hunched over your lungs cannot fully expand and your shoulder go inward when you are hunching causing your chest muscles to feel tight. you should start sitting up strait and paying more attention to your posture…it can cause future problems. and also i dont know if your are a girl…but large breasted women sometimes have this problem…all the the weight in the from causes you to hunch and causes chestpain.
You should be proud of your height. Square your shoulders or get a back harness to help you straighten your back, you are blowing the most beautiful part of yourself, your height. I have never heard of bad posture giving a person chest pains, you need to go and get that sorted out with a physician. REMEMBER, TALL IS BEAUTIFUL!
Bad posture can definitely cause neck spine pain which can be felt in the chest…(the answer is from the doctor at the bottom)…hope i helped you. good luck.
I am not tall by any means! LOL 5ft 1″. I also have a large chest. I spend a lot of my time leaning forward at my desk(bad posture). After some time, I get pain in my sternum area between the breasts as well as in my back.
If you happen to also have a large chest then the unbalance of weight could contribute to your chest pain.
Because the skeletal structure gets knocked out of whack, putting pressure on something it shouldn’t?
well i would think it’s bc your ribs are not straight, so they may be pressing on your lungs or other organs. happened to me once, i actually had a rib out of place and pressing on my lungs, it was VERY painful, chiropracter helps get that out.
Most people don’t stand up straight, and this compresses everything. It restricts breathing (which in turn affects circulation) and nothing can work properly. If you don’t stand tall and let your back lengthen and widen you tense up the rest of your body instead because you’re not using your back the way you should. It causes things like arthritis, repetitive strain injury, back pain, etc etc.

maybe it knocked your breast bone out of place, getthat checked
Maybe the two pains are not even related to each other. Chest pains can be serious or something mild. Seek a doctor
