I’ve been having chest pain for the past year or so. I’m 19 and symptoms are shortness of breath, chest pain and some times dizziness. I don’t get the symptoms every day and gets much worse right before my period. I went to the doctor and he said there’s nothing wrong with me and it’s probably just vitamin deficiency. He gave me some supliments and vitamins. now, two months later and I still have chest pain and shortness of breath sometimes. Anyone had my symptoms?

Go to a different doctor. Any doctor that does not take any chest pain as a serious enough sympton to check further is not a very professional doctor. Chest pain should never be taken lightly!!
Did your doctor get an EKG? Chest X-ray?
It would help if you could identify any particular circumstance in which you get the symptoms- e.g. with vigorous exercise, under emotional stress, just after a meal, etc. Do you get short of breath and tingling around the mouth, maybe tingling of the fingers? There are a lot of possibilities- some benign, some may be a problem. If your doctor is ignoring you, get another opinion.
Sounds like you have more than a vitamin deficiency. Go see a cardiologist ASAP. A complete exam will pinpoint your problem, then find a new doctor! Too many of my older relatives have the same symptoms and all of them have history of heart ailments.
If you get an early diagnosis, you can head-off major problems later on.
Sounds like you’re anemic, you may not have enough red blood cells or the ones you have may not be carrying enough oxygen (low blood count in layman’s terms). You do need help! Consult another physician!
