My husband has had this chronic pain in his chest/upper abdomen for quite awhile now. He’s had every test under the sun, x-rays, ECG, ultrasounds, multiple bloodworks, endoscopy, colonoscopy and no one can figure out what is the problem. He has a CT booked for next month. Tonight he started having the pain more generalized, usually it is on his right side, tonight it is more central. I rather doubt it is heart related as he had an ECG like a month ago and has not ever had high blood pressure or high cholesterol and believe me he’s had all this checked out within the past month or 2. He gets very frustrated by this because no one seems to know what is going on. Has anyone had similar symptoms?

Could it be stress related? I had bad chest pain for a while and found out that it was simply caused by stress, and once I just chilled out a bit, I was fine, and havent experienced it since.
Hello, does it feel as tho it is as big as a fist? How about when you move, does it make it better for a minute, worse or the same?… Is there any way you move that helps it….Does he drink?…Is it right under the rib cage? It does sound like it could be from stress BUT…..I have had multiple back surgeries and THAT TOO can cause pain in the front regions as well. Does he have any pain between his shoulder blades or around his neck area in the back? This is often overlooked but the pain in front CAN be caused by back problems. Something to think about and maybe ask his Dr.
Hi may I know what is the outcome of your husband’s CT scan, does doing ct scan helps? I have got the symptoms that your hubby is facing, I don’t know what wrong with me n a check on Internet about chest pain leads to many possible reasons… Doctor said it may be due to stress but I don’t have stress..
