Has any one ever had those symptoms, what happened after they went to the doc? I have this chest pain which is not an actual pain it is just a discomfort, and kind of heaviness or I shouldn’t say heavy, I am confused I cant describe it, its kind of coming back and forth from last few months, the reason why I am worried about it is because my left shoulder and arm is kind of heavy, I visited a doc in a free health camp caz I cant afford going to others, and he told me that its ok ,he said at this age and the depression and anxiety you’ve god its normal, but I am worried caz it is keep on coming back and then it disappears like it wasn’t there, but at the same time I got no real symptoms of all the heart diseases ,as I don’t get any sweating and shortness of breath etc with the chest pain. can some one please please please help me who has any knowledge about any of this or any website where I can get free advise from docs or any one , or any body who has had experienced these kind of pain in discomfort?

    There are two other possibilities that you can check out.
    #1. Have your teeth checked- you may need a root canal in one tooth and not know it. Meanwhile bacteria could be channeling down through your body. If a dentist discovers a problem in this area and gives you a root canal, the pain will go away.
    #2. Your aeorta valve which crosses over your heart muscle could be causing discomfort while in digestion process.
    Next time that you feel the discomfort check to see if you’ve eaten recently and if so slug down some Perrier- it’s mineral properties have a soothing effect in this area.

    You already have the answer. Depression and anxiety. You can’t get free advice. You need to contact your county’s department of mental health. If you are low income and qualify, they will get you in to see a psychiatrist and (if needed) medication based on your low income.

    This sound svery much like an anxiety attack. When it happens try to relax, breathe deeply and close your eyes and think of a pleasant scene, it will help..;

    I have pains in my chest that are pretty intense and they turned out to be rib muscles contracturing or air bubbles between the ribs. Do you dive?

    I recently had something similar happen to me. I am 23 and don’t have insurance as well, but went to the Dr anyway. He did an EKG (heart test), oxygen test, x-rays, and blood work and everything came back ok. He said the same thing that since I am only 23 I shouldn’t worry too much. Sometimes it could be just something muscular, from stress, or from smoking. I wouldn’t worry about it too much but if the problem continues I would def go see a Dr. I thought it was going to be crazy expensive too, but I told the Dr I didn’t have insurance and he cut some off my bill and it was only $96.

    It is mostly likely nothing major…probably something called costochondritis, which is basically bruising of the cartilage between your ribs, which can be very painful…but very insignificant. This can be caused from very minor things, like getting into your car wrong or turning at a strange angle…try some ibuprofen and see if it goes away…also, this can be caused by pain in the thoracic (mid) spine, so do you have any mid-back pain? If so, try to ice your mid back about 3 times a day for approx. 20 minutes at a time. Feel better soon! Good luck!

    I get chest pain too, It is because I am always getting anaemic and am iron deficient. You need to get a blood test done to see if you have this condition. It is easily treatable – iron tablets, or iron infusions.

    you might just be having an anxiety attack. you might just need to start relaxing a little more

    ~You’re 25 years old, it’s highly doubtful there is anything wrong with your heart.
    Do you have asthma?
    The fact that you suffer from depression and anxiety tells me that is what is causing it.
    Everyone’s bodies react to stress in different ways, this is the way yours does.
    Try not to focus on it and it will probably go away.~

    Starbucks is one of the only companies that gives health insurance to part-time workers. put in a few hours a week, you’re in.
