I Have Acid Reflux And Have Had Stomach Problems. What Could Be Causing The Pain In My Chest?

September 11th, 2009 by admin Leave a reply »

I also feel like coughing some. There for awhile I had real bad stomach pain and blood. That part got better, but I still have light stomach pain and light chest pain right in the middle, plus I feel like coughing some. Any idea what could be causing the chest pain? I’m wondering if I have an ulcer in my digestive system. I figured it was in my stomach, but maybe there’s one higher. Any idea?

I know exactly how to help you.
    You probably have Celiac Disease.
It affects 1 in 133 Americans and 97% are undiagnosed.
Most often, it causes the symptoms you just described.
It is diagnosed with a blood test and an endoscopy.
Neither are painful, and are quick procedures.
Once you know you have it, the only way to treat it is to go on a gluten-free diet.
Gluten is a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley.
    Ask your doctor.

Acid Reflux if let go can cause cancer in the throat. Take your hand and right where your ribs come together in the middle of your chest, right at the bottom of the middle part of your ribs if you have pain there you could have an ulcer. Stomach pains that can double you over . Go to your doctor yes there can be blood from ulcers.

What you describe exactly matches with heartburn which is only a symptom of acid reflux disease.

The acid reflux, called GERD when it occurs frequently, is probably the cause of the pain in your chest. GERD can cause an injury to your upper esophagus which can feel like a heart attack in some people.
