My dear stefanie. Your question is of course out of concern. However, what you haven’t told me is the gender and age of the person. In a 18YO with those symptoms I would expect stress and acid refluxing up into the food tube as the problem. ALWAYS genetic plays a huge role here. What else is going on with this person. Does this person smoke, do drugs/alcohol? These kinds of behaviors will exaggerage reflux kinds of problems. Reflux of the powerful stomach acid can cause a person to feel uncomfortable to major chest pain as the acid burns the esophagus. On the other hand if your speeking of a 60YO person then that person probably doesn’t have acid reflux because of all the t.v. ads to buy this and that. Chest pain that radiates to the back in a middle to elderly person may be the heart saying HELP. Ther are other serious conditions that can present with chest pain. It could just as well be arthritis in a middle or elderly person that provides the pain. Tiredness is a common complaint for everyone. I feel tired at times of the day and so does my 23YO daughter. For most young folks who complain of burning throat and aching heart I would wager that they are experiencing acid refuxing up from their stomach to their esophagus.
I take one pill a day (as did my dad) for the rest of my life for that very condition.
Have a great journey!
It might be acid reflux. time to seek medical help.
1st… They should go to a doctor and have this diagnosed. It could be anything from acid reflux to a serious heart problem.
When I had this problem, I went to my doctor and found that I have acid reflux. My chest hurt so bad I could actually feel it when I pressed on my breastbone. My throat burned a lot & my voice was scratchy most of the time. I used to actually lose my voice a lot because of it. I was constantly tired because it gave me asthma. I guess the acid would come up while I was asleep and seep into my trachea. My doctor put me on meds for it foor about 2 weeks and I had to learn not to eat spicy food or eat right before bed or eat extremely fatty foods like cheescake & french fries while it was bad.
Sounds like reflux/heartburn to me but they need to see their doctor of course. If they like plain milk have them drink half a glass and see if that helps. If it does its very probably just the reflux.
acid reflux disease. see a dr. about that. it could do permanent dammage. they can put you on medication for it. untill they get to a dr, tell your friend to meet tums, it’s their new best friend for the time being.
it may be heart burn or a heart attack, they should see a doctor as soon as possible, if it is heart burn then, antacids or pills to control the acid can help, if it is a heart attack, they need immediate help.
“Acid Reflux Disease.” See your doctor. <}:-})
It could be acid reflect. But this person needs to see a doctor. You don’t mess around with your health. It could be something more serious.Age now a days isn’t a factor when it comes to heart problems.Any age can have a condition.
It sounds like your friend has acid reflux. It is caused by stomach acid burning the esophagus, and throat. It would fixed by taking a pepcid, or prevacid each day. However if your friend is concerned I would suggest they see there doctor right away. Hope they feel better
heartburn tell them to take some tums
I would suggest that the person has issues that need to be dealt with .
the heart suggest issues of love and the throat suggest to me that your friend needs to speak and deal with issues that being suppressed…The immune system, of course is going to be affected and your friend is headed to a place where things can possible get worse if he /she doesn’t listen to what the body is saying . we all need to know that we can cure ourselves by listening to our truth and allowing them to surface rather than suppress them.
take care.
First of all, they need to see a Dr. or a Chiropractor. A Chiropractor may be able to fix the problem with out medicine. It could be heartburn, could be an ulcer, could be many things. It could be the stomach pushing up into the esophagus. A chiropractor can fix that easy with a little manipulation, a Dr. will prescribe medicine that will cover the symptoms. But it needs to be addressed as soon as they can.
usually when a person gets sick it due to to a problem that his immune system doesn’t recognize. there is a supplement made by 4life research that builds the immune system in a way that it teaches the immune system how to react towards the problems. the product is 100% natural, but people with transplants should avoid, being that it detects all forgien matter an distroys it. im a distributor of this product and can point you in the right direction. contact me by email or cell (772)342-1913 i be glad to help you.
go to a Dr. sounds like acid reflux. I have it, and I ended up in the E.R. because I thought I was having a heart attack!
Their Dr. can give them some meds. to help with it. They also need an upper G.I. All it is is a scan to make sure that no damage is being done because of the acid in their throat. Hope this helps!
Don’t give them milk! The biggest myth is that milk will help…it is actually a trigger! I thought it was good, and my Dr. told me to stop!
