I am 25 years old. No heart problems in my family. I had a heart murmur as a baby, but no problems later on. I am 5’5″, 138 lbs, 38 D breasts, so I am in my healthy weight range. I want to lose more weight though. I was jumping on an exercise trampoline for 4 minutes and then I got a really sharp pain in my left side of my chest and back. I stopped exercising 20 minutes ago, but still feel pain, although not as intense. I really want to lose 23 more pounds. Should I ignore the pain and continue working out on the trampoline, or should I choose another exercise?

You should get it checked,
many things can be the reason for your pain. The major one i am thinking of is chest pain related to a clot, thombus, in your heart, not a full cloth which leads to a heart attack, AMI, but a partially blocked artiery, one of the symptoms is chest pains while physicall activity. But based on you age and no prior family heart problems, i doubt its that, but im not a doctor yet. Other things can be cramps and others. But if it is a real pain, i would get it checked out, what will it hurt.
choose to visit a doctor first :-p
Smart thing – go see a doctor
Not so smart thing – ask a bunch of idiots on the internet what’s best for your health
I have gotten random chest pain from time to time, but there’s no record of heart complications in my family. I would advise though, that you consult a physician just for health reasons = ).
Get your heart tested immediately! Do a treadmill test to see how your heart takes graduated exercise conducted safely by a doctor. Don’t wait JUST in case it’s the heart. You can avoid a heart attack, but not AFTER you have it!
