Is It Unusual To Have Chest Pain With Mitral Valve Prolapse?

I have chest pain in the upper right part of my chest, sometimes feel shortness of breath. I am 65 years old and not overweight don’t smoke, and cholesterol is normal . I do not have high blood pressure, diabetes. I am a female.

    No, this could be a sign that the MVP has gotten worse. You should have it checked. My grandmother has MVP, but it got worse and she went into heart failure. She now is on meds and doing fine.
