well I don’t have the answer but I do have some of the same symptoms and would like to know if there is someone who can help out with this question.

• I have had Pneumonia several times and all the coughing can injure/sprain your Ribs and cause pain! Something else it could be is “Slipping Rib Syndrome”.Look that up and see if it may apply to you.You can get this condition from stress to the rib area-coughing/twisting,bending wrong way/falling/trouble breathing Ect.   go to a Dr. sounds like acid reflux. I have it, and I ended up in the E.R. because I thought I was having a heart attack!
  Their Dr. can give them some meds. to help with it. They also need an upper G.I. All it is is a scan to make sure that no damage is being done because of the acid in their throat. Hope this helps!

  First of all, they need to see a Dr. or a Chiropractor. A Chiropractor may be able to fix the problem with out medicine. It could be heartburn, could be an ulcer, could be many things. It could be the stomach pushing up into the esophagus. A chiropractor can fix that easy with a little manipulation, a Dr. will prescribe medicine that will cover the symptoms. But it needs to be addressed as soon as they can.
