Something else it could be is "Slipping Rib Syndrome".Look that up and see if it may apply to you.You can get this condition from stress to the rib area-coughing/twisting,bending wrong way/falling/trouble breathing Ect. I JUST found out I have this- I had Chest pain/Stomach pain/and MOSTLY Upper Back pain that was like a dull ache that hurt like u know what- Also Pneumonia can very often turn into Pleurisy, which also causes pain in the places you spoke of! {Yes i have had that too few times} Pleuratic pain can be very severe and linger for quite a while ect}You can find out a LOT just by going on google and researching!
