Okay so i have had this pain in my chest every time i breath in and out and it wont go away, when ever im twisting around or moving my upper body in a fast manner it gets difficult to breathe and the pain in my chest starts to hurt a little more, also it seems to have spread to my middle of my chest to sometimes hurting on the right side peck but not often , just always on the left right by my heart. Other symptoms i have are i get the chills and also i had a little bit of a temperature the other night and i think i might have one now, other symptoms are my throat is kind of sore and my stomach has been back and forth between feelling uneasy and not , i have not puked yet but i have felt like i needed to a couple of times. I am just concerned because me and my dad got into an arguement about taking me to the hospital because he doesnt want to take me and i dont want to go if its just gonna be something little and have him be very angry at me.
Does anyone know what i might have ?

Are you too young to go to the hospital yourself? And do you have insurance? If you have insurance and your gut is honestly telling you that you aren’t ok…then you should go.
Check out the sites I’ve posted in sources and see what your symptoms mean. Again…if you honestly feel bad and your instincts are to get this checked out, tell your dad that it’s easier to prevent a health related catastropy then to fix one.

How old are you?? Could you have pneumonia? A chest xray would show this. I had this a few years ago and my doctor couldn’t believe someone having pneumonia in the summer, but there it was.

I used to get something like this quite frequently. Eventually it went away on it’s own, but once it was so bad I couldn’t get out of bed. Don’t trust that yours will just go away though, I feel lucky that mine did. Go to your doctor.

If you have a fever and a sore throat you may be developing an infection. Pneumonia is a good possibility. Pneumonia can give you chest pain that increases with inspiration. You could also have Pleurisy. You should see a physician to determine just what it is and you may need treatment. If you develop any SOB with exertion go to the doctor for a chest XRAY.

I am a nurse. You need to go to the hospital. Your symptoms could possibly be something serious….There is no way you can know what it is without a professional checking you out….better to be safe than sorry.
