What Is This Pain That I Have In My Back And Chest?

December 12th, 2009 by admin Leave a reply »

I have bad back pain and a small bit of pain in the left of my chest. The pain in the left of my chest feels like sun burn but I have not been on holidays since last July and it rains here all the time in Ireland.
I also have a kinda bubbly feeling in my stomach.
My back pain really hurts when I sit down and it sometimes feels like someone is stabbing me in the chest.
I do not have any asthma or any other conditions.
I’m a 14 year old girl.
Any idea what this could be?

This question is not for answering on these pages accurately!
Go and see your Doctor asap and explain your symptoms. It could be caused by many different reasons.

This must be either ostheohondrosis or neuralgia. you have to move more and use special gels which will reduce the pain in the back-bone. but you’d better consult the doctor.

You may have a rib that has shifted or “stuck” muscularly. Did you cough or fall recently? Try holding on to a pullup bar and simply hang there and stretch while trying to breath deeply. See if anything pops.

it sounds like a muscular spasm or trapped nerve and this might sound really daft but constipation can cause this type of pain

Shame on you, Hannah, for telling a 14 year old girl she has cancer.
I would definitely do see a doctor and describe what you’re feeling to him or her. There are a couple of things to seriously consider here as well.
1 – What kind of stress are you going through? Most 14 year old’s hate their parents, and school, and life in general, but it’s only because adolescence is hormone hell. Hang in there, it’s really not as bad as you think.
2 – How is your posture? Are you aware of how your body is positioned? Are you slouched forward all the time? CAn you sit up straight?
3 – Sleep with a pillow (good and thick) under your knees. Lay on your back and do this. It really will release some of the pressure on your lumbar spine and help with lower back pain. If it’s upper back pain, I would go see a Chiropractor along with your doctor to see about getting adjusted.
It’s not cancer. Don’t listen to people that say such things.
