What’s This Pain In The Chest?

February 23rd, 2010 by admin Leave a reply »

My stepdaughter keeps having pains in her chest. She’s 19 years old and very healthy other wise.
It is not accompanied by any other symptoms and hurts at random momemts throughout the day. It happens every day, several times a day. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks!

She should see a Dr. pain can sometimes radiate to other parts of the body. However you shouldn’t play around with chest pains. It would help to have her keep a diary daily of her pains. When they onset, where the pain is located, how long it lasts, the character of the pain, does anything alleviate or aggravate the pain, does the pain move, etc.
    See a Dr!!!!!

I have those pains all the time at random moments, it might be a anxiety attack,or gas in the chest

I guess she is upset with something or she is pothered by something or someone but she can’t say.
    That’s only a guess!

Possible anxiety attacks, could be angina.. I now it’s rare at her age, but anything these days is possible. I would certainly recommend that she see a doctor for some tests to be sure. There are too many different things that it could be.

It might be gas trapped in her chest, I get that sometimes… but you should really see a doctor, just in case. Many small pains can turn out to be much bigger things.
