I have been having chest pain all day. The pain is on the right side, and in my back. No pains in my arms.
The reason why, I’m asking, is because at the present time I do not have medical coverage, because I have changed jobs.

October 22nd, 2009I woke up today with a pain in my chest, on my right side just above my breast in the middle of my chest. Ok so its just a sort of sharp pain when I breath or move abit. The pain is not too bad, but it is a discomfort. I have experienced this before quite a few times but today its worse than other times. I have told my doctors about it numerous times, but each has said something different. The last one said use nerofen gel, which I am using but its not helping now. This pain comes on abruptly and randomly, every few months, I do have asthma but I have NO breathing problems, just a sharp pain above my right breast on the left side.
What is this? I looked on the internet and I think it might be Costochondritis, I am not a medical person so its just a guess, What do you think? Should I go to the doctor? Everytime I see them they just say, it will go away, dont worry about it. However I am worried

October 22nd, 2009had…Costochondritis…. It is still going on.. I am starting to think I have a heart problem or something. I only have the pain if I move a certain way. Like when lying down and flipping over in my sleep. It is in my sternum. No other symptoms just the pain whenever I move a certain way…Here it is like 3 months later and I still get the pain on and off. It feels like the pain is in my bone rather than my heart.. any ideas?
For < 24hrs Sharp Pain In The Left Center Chest Area Only Happens About 2 Sec After Swallow, Hate Docs, Help?
October 19th, 2009Only ate maple brn sugar mini wheats and spicy cajun peanuts (in shell) yesterday before it started hurting. Kinda feels like gas but too high, it’s about an inch left of the center of my chest and runs from about 3 inches below the colarbone down another 3-4 inches. Sometimes feels higher or lower, burping doesn’t help tried hanging upside down. No fever or any other symptoms, back pain but I am pretty sure it is unrelated as it hurt for several days before due to a fall. Doesn’t hurt to breathe or cough or turn sideways or talk or anything else like that, just about two seconds after swallowing. Any suggestions besides “seek professional help immediately” I have a doc apptmnt for next Monday, earliest available.

October 18th, 2009I’ve been having chest pain for the past year or so. I’m 19 and symptoms are shortness of breath, chest pain and some times dizziness. I don’t get the symptoms every day and gets much worse right before my period. I went to the doctor and he said there’s nothing wrong with me and it’s probably just vitamin deficiency. He gave me some supliments and vitamins. now, two months later and I still have chest pain and shortness of breath sometimes. Anyone had my symptoms?
If I Have “minor” Chest Pain Is This Still Something I Need To Call The 911 About?
October 17th, 2009for a couple of days now i’ve had “minor” pain in my chest that seems to come and go periodically, this certainly is not unbearable pain that’s keeping me from doing my day to day activities, and i’m not showing any of the other known symptoms of heart attack (ie trouble breathing,dizziness,blurr… vission,numbness etc), still is this something i should go to the emergency room for?

October 15th, 2009I’m a paramedic and I was just thinking of this after I heard about a man being put to death. I mean really what would you do, you got a guy who is minutes from being executed. He begins to have chest pain shortness of breath radiating down the left arm with nausea vommiting dizziness diaphoresis all classic signs/symptoms of myocardial infarction(heart attack). Do you proceed with the execution or do you allow for him to suffer and ultimately be put to death. For me the law states I have a duty to act. There is almost no chance I personally will be put in this type of situation but someone someday will be.
