I have an occasional sharp pain in the left side of my chest. I also have acid reflux. I’ve been tested so many times for heart problems and the doctors have always taken it back to reflux. It’s very frightening. I also have a lot of anxiety which I do have medication for. Nothing seems to help right now. Any advice?

December 31st, 2009I am having severe chest pain and shortness of breath for two weeks now, it seems to be getting worse. I have been to the ER twice and admitted once to be monitored and given fluid for low blood pressure.
I was discharged and told my heart is fine, but the pain in my chest feels like a knife through my chest and back, neck pain and shooting arm pains.
Has anyone else had similar symptoms that was not the heart but another problem? If so, what was the cause and what did you do to get rid of it.
(I have no family or personal history of heart dieases and I have no history of illness.)
Has Anyone Ever Shouted So Much That They Ended With Chest Pain And Difficulty Breathing For A Very Long Time?
December 13th, 2009its unbeilievable but on november 4th, i was watching a football match and when my favourite team scored, i shouted so much that i’ve had difficulty in breathing, talking, and continuos chest pains ever since. I can’t accept this cause its my fault and its such a stupid thing to happen. my situation is unbearable cause there’s been no improvement in 4 months.

October 23rd, 2009i have been having pain in my chest for the last week and a half right down the middle its like a sharp pain and pressure .. I cant even straighten my back out all the way to sit up straight like i normally would. It hurts really bad does anyone know what this might be?

Anyone Know These Symptoms; Burning Legs Sometimes Arms, Weakness?
October 13th, 2009I know a young person (in twenties)who has had burning in their legs mostly but also arms, and weakness as well as some other random symptoms like chest pains, ALS and MS have been ruled out, other tests are still being done, been going on for a few months, getting worse, some doctors think it’s a post viral infection.. can anyone relate or know what this could be. Also hodgkins and gullian bar syndrome, diabetes have been ruled out. Lots of blood work has been done and no answers have come up indicating what it is. Any ideas?

September 28th, 2009I have had chest pain for the past week&1/2….was admitted in to the hospital for 2 days and now discharged and going to finsh testing as outpt….but while im wiating to find out I was wondering if anyone has had BAD chest pain and a good EKG and blood work and still something be wrong with there heart?
(blood pressure and pain responded well with nitroglyceryn in the hossy but pain has started back and kind of worse(not a bad bad pain)

Anyone Have Pectus Excavatum (funnel Chest) Symptoms?
September 23rd, 2009My son has had PE since birth and complains of back pain, fainting when standing, he had chest pain in the past. He was evaluated a couple of years ago and we are going for another check up soon-couple of days-and I am wondering if anyone here has had similar symptoms or what your symptoms were, if any. I don’t know his haller index yet, and the last time we went we were kinda pushed off because he wasn’t old enough-according to the surgeon-to be considered for surgery, he was 9 then. He does have displaced heart to left cavity and rotated sternum. His last ECHO results were normal, however they did the test while he was lying down and most PE patients have normal results in that position. Next time I am going to ask for it to be done in a sitting position. Looking at the chest his “dent” is 1.5 inches deep, roughly 3.8cm I think, measuring from nipple line. I’m pretty informed of the causes and possible damage it may cause in the future, but it’s very hard to find symptoms that aren’t generalized.
P.S. his PE is not associated with any other conditions, i.e. Rickets or Marfan’s, & so on.
