The Gains Of A Good Cardio Exercise Routine

October 25th, 2009

The benefits of cardio exercise programs extend not only to weight loss but to overall health improvement as such. The cardiovascular or cardio name of certain training forms results from the intense heart stimulation that occurs during the activity in question. This means that the heart beats at a higher rate, pumps more blood towards the muscles and burns fat as a means of energy consume. The entire body gets stimulated in a cardio exercise program, and here we refer not only to the skeletal and the muscles but to the respiratory, nervous and circulatory systems as well. Plus, the metabolism increases in the effort of producing more energy necessary for the intense operations.Click through here for more information on bike basket.

Any physical activity can receive the name of cardio exercise as long as it stimulates the body as described before. Experts in fact stress out the importance of sticking to one activity you like for better results and personal satisfaction. Good cardio exercise examples include aerobics, swimming, cycling, jogging, stair climbing, rowing or skiing, but the list is far from over. The important part is not the sport or the activity you engage in as such, but the method of practicing it. There are some steps to go through for smooth and healthy training and they should not be skipped. Bicycle riding is a truly excellent cardio workout activity – not only is it fun but also its very good for you. You can obtain more information on pet bike basket here.

Practice a cardio exercise for thirty or sixty minutes at least three times a week. However, start gradually, with a ten-minute warm up for the heart rate to increase slowly towards the peak expected in full cardio training. Then, some rest intervals should be left between the workouts, because you can thus eliminate the risk of over-training and you allow the muscles to increase in mass even in the relaxation state.

Some of the sports that fall into the cardio exercise category are not at all easy to practice. They take time, perseverence and an ever better physical condition. You’ll surely know what I mean if you have ever tried running up hill or sprinting. The pressure that the joints and muscles are put through is outstanding, but in thirty minutes of running you’ll be able to burn some 300 calories which equals a pound and a half in weight. This is definitely a dream come true for people eager to get slim, but the path to fitness is definitely not simple or easy. You can gain tons of valuable information about wicker bicycle basket here.

What’s The Deal With The Truth About Six Pack Abs?

September 20th, 2009

Are you looking to burn fat and develop a better set of six pack abs? If you are, read below for a Truth About Six Pack Abs review.

Truth About Abs is an ab workout plan created by Mike Geary, a personal trainer and nutrition expert. The program focuses on specific exercises and a nutrition plan to shed fat around both your waist and your body overall.

Tedious cardio workouts are not the most effective way to burn fat and reveal your six pack abs. This program will show you the exact types of unique workouts that produce 10x better results.

What can the program do for you?

First, the program is geared towards both men and women, which is a plus. Second, Truth About Abs does not put the focus only on ab exercises.

Instead, you’ll learn effective ab exercises AND fat-burning whole body circuits (some that are really neat). Ab exercises are important, but if you really want to have a rock hard midsection, you also have to burn the fat your body is carrying.

Third, Mike Geary will introduce you to a cardio plan that is quick yet effective. It’s a plan I’ve already been following so I know it’s great advice.

Fourth, you get a straightforward and effective nutrition routine because healthy eating is excellent for boosting your metabolism and burning fat. You even learn about foods that claim to be “healthy”, but will actually set you back in your quest for six pack abs.

So is Truth About Six Pack Abs worth trying?

Yes, it is. What I like best about Mike Geary’s Truth About Six Pack Abs is that it’s more than just an ab program…you really get a full body workout and nutrition plan that sheds body fat and gives you a flatter stomach. There’s a reason that he has 10’s of thousands of customers in over 100 countries…because his ab fitness program works.

Is It Okay To Continue A Specific Workout If I Have Chest Pain?

September 15th, 2009

I am 25 years old. No heart problems in my family. I had a heart murmur as a baby, but no problems later on. I am 5’5″, 138 lbs, 38 D breasts, so I am in my healthy weight range. I want to lose more weight though. I was jumping on an exercise trampoline for 4 minutes and then I got a really sharp pain in my left side of my chest and back. I stopped exercising 20 minutes ago, but still feel pain, although not as intense. I really want to lose 23 more pounds. Should I ignore the pain and continue working out on the trampoline, or should I choose another exercise?

Can’t Lose Weight? It’s Not That Hard When You Know How

September 14th, 2009

Really think you can’t lose weight? Any reasons why you think that you can’t shed a bit of flab? Sadly the majority of people who want to lose weight get it in their heads that they simply can’t lose weight. Some mystical power is stopping them from achieving their weight loss goal.

The truth is they are reluctant to lose any weight at all. They are happy living the lifestyle they are living. Yet they will openly say they want to, but can’t seem to lose weight.

Losing weight is no big deal. It’s a mathematical equation, pure and simple. Your body needs to use more calories than it takes in. If we eat more than we burn off we get fat. Period.

Look at it from the other way and you will lose weight if you burn more than you consume. This is the crux of the problem. The average diet is so full of calories it’s almost criminal. If you compared what you should be eating against what you do eat you would give yourself a funny turn. I kid you not.

A basic example is the exercise for love handles, the side bend. Doing lots and lots of these will make you lose weight. Your guess is as good as mine as to how many you need to do. It’s a balancing act between your intake of calories and how many you burn off.

It’s easy to consume a full days calories in one go. Honestly! Fast food carries a huge amount of blame. Even the non sweet stuff can be packed with sugar. Sugar makes you get hungry quicker after digestion.

Our body converts most foods into a simple sugar called glucose, and uses this for energy. Sugary foods get used up much faster and then leave you feeling hungry again very quickly. There’s a lot of people think our sugar reliant diets is no accident. A western world conspiracy to get us eating (and spending) more.

The more we eat, the more we spend, the more they get rich. It’s a great formula for big business to get richer and richer. What’s the easiest way to get us to eat more? Add sugar to everything.

Like in a bar when there’s peanuts or pretzels on the bar to nibble on. We eat the salt and get thirsty so we buy more beer. To wrap things up you should lose weight if you eat less than you burn off. Can you do this on your own? I doubt it as the western worlds collective willpower is on the floor.

What you need is a hand holding system to help you. Something that will guarantee you lose weight if you follow it to the letter. If you think you’ve tried everything and still can’t lose weight. Consider trying a product with a whole new approach.

Fat Loss and Workout Intensity

September 12th, 2009

If your goal is to lose fat quickly, it’s necessary to work exceptionally hard at high intensity interval training and circuit training. It is often difficult to gauge how intense you should be. There’s an art to discovering your perfect workout intensity for interval training.

Fat Loss Workouts and Muscle Definition : A Strategy

I like to separate the fat loss portion of the workout from the strength training portion of the workout (most of the time). For muscle definition, I recommend brief low volume strength training with heavy weights. This kind of exercise will give you defined, firm muscles. Strength training is usually the easy part. With any workout, the calorie burning, fat loss portion is the most intense and difficult. It is best to include an intense fat loss routine into your workout at least three times each week. This can be HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), body weight training circuits, or any other strategic interval or circuit workout that makes sense.

A Low Intensity Workout Doesn’t Create an “After Effect”

Most often, when I am at the gym, I see people doing a fat loss workout with no intensity in it. If you aren’t resting or cooling down for the next part of your workout, walking on a treadmill is useless. When you do a cardio workout that is low intensity, you are not maximizing the amount of calories you could be burning.

Watch Closely, to Avoid a Workout That is Too High in Intensity Also

You will more than likely find yourself resting for longer periods of time when you are finished with your routine, if it is too intense or difficult. For the most effective fat loss workout, you should be able to go on without extra breaks as if you never worked out at all. Working out hard and then sitting on the couch the rest of the day because you are tired, is not a good fat loss strategy.

Is Your Fat Loss Workout the Right Intensity?

Pay attention to what is called the “HGH Flush”. This is a good way to judge the effectiveness of your fat loss workout. The HGH Flush is when your skin becomes noticeably hot and slightly red, and when you are running short of breath post-workout. Do you recall your high school gym coach making you run laps and force you to keep going until you ran out of breath and you felt like you were on fire? Your body releases a higher amount of HGH, a fat burning hormone, than usual during this HGH flush, indicating that your metabolism is increased.

Your Comfort Zone Can Also Guide You if You Keep Your Workouts Just Inside its Limit

A common mistake I’ve witnessed is clients being pushed too hard, too soon by their personal trainers. I had a personal trainer brag that he could take me through a workout that would “destroy me”. Um…no thanks. This is what I call hitting the “Sweet Spot” of workout intensity. As your body gets in shape, you can push it a little harder every time. If you are forced to overcompensate with more rest than normal, then back off a bit your next workout.
