I was having chest pain, tightness like a band around my chest, feeling faint, sweating. My troponin level was elevated but the ekg looked fine. i had a ct of my lungs to rule out PE and it came back neg. so i had a heart cath that showed a healthy heart. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions on what could be wrong??

November 13th, 2009I had a heart attack in 2007.. My pain began in my left hand and then traveled up my arm, to neck and chest area.. my arm then begin to feel oddly heavy..I began to feel very short of breath and very weak, was afraid I was going to pass out. Doctors said I got to hospital just in time,, Was starting to go into cardiac arrest and had no blood pressure..
I was told you dont mess around with chest pain.. if you even suspect you may be having a heart attack, call 911.. I had my son drive me to hospital..they said if you call an ambulance paremedics will begin to treat you as soon as they arrive at your home, plus they notify hospital of your condition, so hospital is ready for you when you get there..

October 20th, 2009i can feel my heart hammering in my chest, along with pain in my chest and throat when i breathe. it started with symptoms of tight chest, like someone was sat on it! but now i get these plapatations esp on a night. i took my heart rate during one of these little ”attacks” and it was 89. i know my normal rest rate is 70 so im wondering if i should worry about any of this?
