it happens randomly sometimes. average three weeks apart sometimes a lot more. there is a sharp pain sort of to the side of my chest right under or sometimes “in” my breast. it gets worse when i deep breathe and then it is gone in like 5 mins.

February 10th, 2010I am 15 years old (female), and without a doubt have Lupus. My doctor is slow in diagnosing, which is understandable, but he keeps telling me things are wrong with me other than Lupus, that really aren’t, he keeps giving medicine to treat my “illnesses,” and they don’t work because he’s obviously wrong. I have been on all kinds of medications for various things, except for Lupus! He is holding off on lab. tests (which is pissing me off!) and is starting to have attitude with me…I think he thinks its all in my head even though I have all symptoms, genetic history of Lupus, and even his resident is trying to speed things up because she knows I should be tested and diagnosed (I am sick and do not want to live like this any longer). I told him I am missing school because the teachers are sending me home for being too sickly to be in school, and I’m in college level courses, and the school is demanding I get a tutor. I am not going to go over all my symptoms, I do want to know 2 things…
Upper Back And Upper Chest Pain, Switched From Right Side To Left?
February 8th, 2010about 2 weeks ago i started experiencing upper back pain on the right side of my body around the shoulder blade area, about 2 days later i noticed when i took deep breaths i had an increasing pain in the upper right chest area (about 3-4″ up from the nipple). ive tried aleve, motrin, asprin, and tylenol and aleve seems to dull the pain slightly but not much. i didnt take pain meds hardly at all, probabally once on the first day when i noticed back pain and thats all. about after a week had finally passed the pain almost all went away then it came back again but now its on the left side and has the same symptoms. i dont have health insurance (due to a forgotten bill – resumes beginning of next month).
then ill see doc if it dont go away by then. <– i know that sounds bad
Thyroid Chest Pain From Medicine?
February 3rd, 2010My story goes -
I’m 22 and have hypothyroidism (4 years). In the past month or so, I’ve switched from a 60 to 90 dose, and tried like 3 different brands (all dessiccated). I’ve read the symptoms of overdose and I pretty much have them all, so I assume that’s what happened.
I’ve been having chest pain and what feels like palpitaions for the past 2 weeks or so. My doctor put me on Synthroid 75, and I’ve been on that for 3 days now. He says he’ll do a bloodtest in 6 weeks, and can’t adjust my new dose until he sees the results. The chest pain has not stopped.
My question is – Has this happened to anyone else? Will it go away on its own?

**Please don’t tell me to “see a doctor”. I’ve been and he seems to ignore it and think it was because the dosing was too high.

February 2nd, 2010on the same side. All of these seem to have started at the same time. I did have a baby back in February. I have notice tingling in my left arm occasionally. The pain in my arm is the worst with occasional shooting/discomfort pains in my chest/back/shoulder area. Does anyone know what this could be?
