What Type Or Quick Heart Rate Do You Possess

Rapid heart rate could be coming from several distinctive causes, along with collectively are known as tachycardia.  Tachycardia could be broken down into 2 primary groups.  Sinus tachycardia is normally the result of some additional tension requiring the center to beat quicker to function additional blood towards the body.  Tachycardia that doesn’t result from the SA or sinoatrial node is definitely an arrhythmia, or abnormal coronary heart rhythm, which is more quickly than the typical variety.

The regular human heart rate ranges from 60-100 surpasses per minute at rest.  With physical effort the rate increases.  The greatest predicted typical pulse rate may be approximated by the formula that subtracts how old you are from 230.  A 50 year-old could have a maximum forecast heartrate of 230-50 = 180 beats/ minute at extremely vigorous activity.

Tachycardia is described as a heart rate more rapidly than 100 is better than per minute.  A rhythm in which originates from the sinoatrial node coming from 100 up to the utmost predicted heartrate is known as nose tachycardia.  Causes might be fever, anemia, center failure, hypoxia or anxiousness.  An EKG can commonly separate a sinus tachycardia coming from other abnormal speedy rhythms.

Tachyarrhthmias may be split up into those in which the EKG shows a wider than regular QRS complex and the ones with a narrow QRS.  The QRS waves on the EKG are through the electrical depolarization of the thicker muscular ventricles.  They’ve a wide QRS complex simply because the electro-mechanical activity moves a lot more slowly by means of the ventricular muscle tissues and doesn’t use the quicker typical electrical transferring pathways.

Examples of slim QRS complex tachycardias are rapid supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation and sinus tachycardia.  Examples involving wide QRS tachycardia are ventricular tachycardia as well as atrial fibrillation or PSVT with extraordinarily slow conduction over the electrical conduction technique from heart block.  Typically a physician can identify the sort of rapid heartbeat with an EKG.

September 12th, 2009

I’m 16 + i have since about mid-march been having really bad panick attacks. To where i think i’m going to die + tremors…etc. I also think i’m my heart is going to stop + freak out. The last attack was in the beginning of June…i called the ambulance b/c i was convinced my heart had stopped. They hooked me up to monitors + said that i was fine.
Since then…i’ve been having really bad random pains above my rib cage on the left side. I looked it up + it said that i could have PCS-Precordial Catch Syndrome. They listed things that i should look out for if its not that. I have almost all of the symptoms::
Chest pain that extends into the left side of the jaw or arm
a cough that produces phlegm
Extreme anxiety with the pain or a feeling of “impending doom”
Blueness or paleness of the lips or fingernails
An irregular, rapid, or pounding heart rate
Marked difficulty breathing or catching one’s breath
So, i really think that you could help.
Thanks.

September 11th, 2009

Hi, i hope somebody can help me, I am a 24 year old male who suffers from central and left sided chest pain on almost a daily basis, the left sided pain is a stabbing pain and the central pain is a pressure feeling, i also get pain deep inside my left shoulder and arm and have tingling in my left hand when i sleep which disappears within 10 seconds of waking up. I also find myself short of breath sometimes. I have seen several doctors and a cardiologist who have been unable to find anything wrong with me, the tests i have undergone are several ECG’s, a ultrasound on my heart, a scan on my lungs to check for blood clots and a heart x-ray. Doctors have concluded i may have a trapped nerve in my back which is causing the pins and needles, despite what the doctor has said i am constantly worrying about this and fear i am going to die in my sleep, i am also too scared to do any excercise that will increase my heart rate which i know is bad for my overall health. Can anyone help me?

About Irregular Heartbeat Symptoms And Chest Pain?

September 7th, 2009

Your Question
About irregular Heartbeat?
I just got out of the hospital and I really need some answers and want to know if there is anyone out there who suffers from what I am dealing with…I ended up with more questions than answers when I got out.
I have had panic attacks in the past, but I got over them for the past year.
I have had a particular stressful time in my life with no job and no money so survival has been very hard.
I started suffering last Monday with severe irregular heartbeats. Then they got worse and worse. I noticed a pattern. Then, my heart rate was severe and would not go down. So, I had palpitations on top of everything else. I also have Acid Reflux and need to lose about 100 pounds. I am on a special diet on top of Weight Watchers and am working very hard to lose the weight.
The precise problem is…every time I exercise, I get the irregular heartbeat, after I start resting. I am truly scared about what this means.
I went a local (supposedly good) hospital but it was honestly a bad experience. The doctor was not listening to me. She was demeaning and degrading to me b/c she would not answer my questions. She just told me that nothing was wrong with my heart and that I need to follow up with my doctor. When I asked her what was causing my irregular heartbeat specifically after exercise, she had no answer and told me to ask my regular doctor. She seemed ill qualified to be a doctor, the staff was inattentive and the entire place seemed that they were grooming me to get me out of there, not deal with my concerns.
I now have more questions than when I came in and am still suffering from this problem. Because the heart rhythm sensations were so pronounced, I ended up going to the hospital after not sleeping for three days…
I have a follow up with my doctor on Monday, who told me Friday I have metabolic syndrome and that my Triglycerides were high. However, I am very educated about my health and I found that my Triglycerides were high b/c I take Diamox and suffer from Pseudotumor, a neurological condition that causes extra fluid in the brain.
I am looking for a job and i honestly cannot see myself working even part time or any job with these disturbing heart rhythms.
I basically feel there is a lot more going on than meets the eye and I have this on and off for the past two years and am feeling like I am being jerked around because nobody has really given me any answers.
I feel judged, stereotyped and degraded often by doctors who, I feel, treat me worse because of my weight, and therefore, I went to a gastroenterologist who did not do all of the tests he could have done. I hhad an endoscopy but that came back “with inflammation”. He never really followed up with me despite the fact that I demanded more testing for my Esophogus. Now, every time I eat or drink, everything goes up including liquids, they just keep reluxing up automatically. So I need more help and a better doctor who can help me with gastro issues…and I want to know how this could be tied into my chest pain too.
I have suffered from anxiety and again this is a very stressful time in my life. I feel that the added addition of the metabolic syndrome and having to go onto new drugs on top of the Diamox I am taking is very daunting and on top of all of this. I am dealing with some very severe problems regarding finding a good primary care doctor who will help me with all of these issues.
Thanks
Please help or share…
