and its a sharp pain. She cant feel a lump. She is 57 yrs old.
Can anyone help us if they have had similar symptoms.

February 20th, 2010I’ve never come on here for a health question but considering I have a lot of specific details and have seen some legit answers on here I thought I would ask.
My back has been hurting by my shoulder blade extremely bad for the past three weeks. I think it’s just a pulled muscle. The pain keeps changing and getting worse (the actual pain has lessened but now it’s constant instead of just sitting or laying a certain way.. which I consider worse.)
Today though I rode my bike about 4 miles (2 one way, 2 back home). I got home and it felt like I was having an asthma attack. I don’t have asthma but I was hyperventelating and it took a long time to breath normally. My lungs and heart hurt too, especially while breathing. I thought it would go away but when I woke up about 8 hours later it’s still here. Every once in a while it feels as if my face is too tight too (as if there’s not enough skin? Hard to describe that one). It feels like somebody is standing on my chest. It hurts to breath in deep. It not only hurts in one lung, but both AND around my heart. My back is still hurting too and I’m not sure if it’s related.
I have NO cough, I don’t feel any other symptoms (besides feeling run down from everything hurting). I’m 20, I smoke but haven’t been smoking much at all lately since this all happened (I’m trying to quit anyway, this should help). I don’t think I did anything to my back. I probably pulled it without noticing but I didn’t do anything drastic. My lungs and heart didn’t hurt until I rode my bike. I’m not extremely active but ride a bike a lot so I see no reason that this would cause anything odd.
I also just got taken off my mom’s insurance so I’m asking to see if anybody thinks I should go to the doctor or if it’s just something that will pass.
Chest Pain/tightness, Difficulty Breathing, It Hurts To Breathe.?
February 19th, 2010Hi, My name is Mike and I ended up in the E.R. last night at 2:00 in the morning because I have been having chest pains whenever I take a breathe. I don’t know what is causing this and the Doctor couldn’t seem to figure it out either. He performed and EKG and a Chest X-Ray and everything came back normal. All of the symptoms started 6 days ago and have been off-and-on until lately. Last night, it started when I woke up and wouldn’t go away at all; I woke up with it this morning. Last night was scary though, I started getting shortness of breath and everytime I tried to catch my breath, it was really painful. It seems to hurt worse if I have to bend over forwards, and tends to soothe it a bit if I lay straight on my back. Any replies are appreciated!

It Hurts To Breathe. Severe Chest Pain. What Is It?
December 19th, 2009Work up this morning with severe pain to the chest area. Seems to be isolated to just under my breasts. No coughing. Do not feel congested. No fever. It’s a sharp pain if I should cough or laugh or sneeze. I did have a serious bout with flu like symptoms approximately two weeks ago.
Chest Pain That Hurts With Movement?
October 19th, 2009I have a weird chest pain/ back pain that hurts with movement.I notice that If i slouch, bring my shoulders forward then bring them back it hurts. Sometimes when i twist my upper body i feel a popping sensation in b/t my breasts. Last night I went to the ER because they pain became unbearable i had all sorts of tests done EKG, chest xray, CT scan and those came back clear. Im not short on breath and i can breathe fine.
I have been sleeping on the floor for the past 4 months which im not used to and i figure that maybe its just my muscles and ligaments. The ER doc said that good be the case since they didn’t find anything.
Anyone had similiar symptoms?
Oh this pain moves to my back too.

October 19th, 2009I had a horrible chest pain earlier were i could not breathe for about 30 sec. it hurt when I did breathe in, and ever since that my back and chest has hurt horribly (its been 5 hours) now im in really bad pain when I walk and move and theres a constant pain in my chest.
My mom asked me if i want to go to the hospital, so should I? (im 15)
I Have This Chest Pain That Come On Suddenly And Hurts Pretty Intensly When I Inhale.?
September 30th, 2009Recently i expereinced this chest pain, second time in the last month maybe two. What happens is I get this intense pain typically where your heart is,but this last time i felt it on my right side. It hurts so bad when i inhale that all i can do is breath shallowly and not move. It usually last 5 or more minuets or so and then it calms down to the point where i can move and breathe a little better but it still hurts just a little.
Methylprednisolone For Chest Pain From Bronchitis And Asthma. Chest Still Hurts – Is It Bad To Take Refill?
September 11th, 2009Was given a 6-day treatment of MethylPrednisolone to stop the inflammation. Was getting massive chest pain and tightness. Felt like there were weights sitting on me. Doc gave me the option of a refill in case it didn’t go away completely. Said it should help with the chest pain/pressure.
I’m still experiencing the chest pain, not as intense, but it still hurts. Is it bad to take the MethylPrednisolone for another 6-days? I know she gave me the refill for a reason, but I’m just worried because it’s a steroid.
