For the last month or so I have been experiencing some discomfort in my torso. For the last few days it has been more noticeable. Its on the left side. It isn’t painful, but it’s more of a nuisance. I seem to feel it more when I am doing nothing (like watching TV).
As for the location, it is about as the level of my elbow and right about where my lowest rib is. It seem to be a little swollen, but nothing you can see (you would have to feel both sides to sense it). It also seems to flair up more when I am tired or stressed.
I have looked up the symptoms online, but really can’t find anything on it. Any Idea? I know I probably need to see a doctor. I will as soon as I can.

Fell While Running Chest Pain Left Side Where I Landed?
February 22nd, 2010fell while running this morning, hands first, lost my breath, chest pain continues, ribs are sore, breathing is tolerable but a bit of pain with a deep breath, sneezing hurts, sitting up straight is a bit painful, bending down to like pick something up hurts – can I wait it out and see if the pain subsides and how long should I wait, should I ice, hang low, can I run if possible tomorrow morning?

I Have High Blood Pressure Associated With Left Side Chest Pain.?
February 15th, 2010I went to the hospital yesterday to have it checked out but after a heart ultra sound and ECG and various blood tests everything was normal with my heart. What did happen though was my blood pressure went sky high and had to bought down by medication while at the hospital. Is this the cause of my left side chest and shoulder blade pain.? Acid Reflux, & Chest Pain,with Left Arm Going Numb?
February 11th, 2010I’ve had acid reflux forever but I have not taken my medication in over a year because I couldn’t afford a doctor. The acid reflux has often caused me chest pain but for the past 3 weeks it’s going down my arm & numb and I have headaches. My friend scared me and told me I was having heart attack symptoms. I’m 22 though. Is it possible that this is acid reflux still or would that definetely be a heart problem? All my grandparents except 1 had heart problems so I know it runs in the family. I go see a doctor today at the clinic for something else so I can get a referral to both a heart and stomach doctor if that’s what I need. I’m just scared now that she said that. Has anyone ever had this with acid reflux?
