My husband has had two episodes of severe chest pain in the last week. First it was just severe chest pains and today he had sever chest pains associated with numbness on the left side and tightness of the jaw. I gave him two Bayer Asprin each time and he got alright. He will not go to the Dr. He is Diabetic, Sleep Ap, High Blood Pressure and he had surgery on his shoulder 3 months ago. He had test ran on his heart three months ago and was find.

January 29th, 2010I have left chest pain and arm pain that has been an intermittent issue for some time…I was checked by Cardiology about 9 months ago with an stress EKG, echocardiogram, and Holter Monitior- showing nothing. I have also had multiple EKG’s in the dr.’s office showing nothing (some innocent palpitations).
Yesterday I had this pain in my chest and arm along with pain in my jaw, shoulder, back. My heart rate was going up and down between 80-100. And indigestion. I went to the Urgent Care, and of course EKG again was normal. The dr. said he didn’t know what to tell me – he said they are textbook cardiac symptoms I am having. I am only 31.
So what else could cause this pain? I have IBS, and perhaps reflux. I am still having this pain and also a metallic taste in my mouth. Is it possible reflux can this closely mimic cardiac? Could a shoulder problem cause these issues? Thanks!
I Had A Sharp Pain In My Chest That Made Part Of Left Arm Numb?
January 22nd, 2010Ok, i was sitting here, (about 15 mins ago) i get a sharp pain in my chest, then my left arm goes numb and i get light headed like im going to pass out, i run out to my parents, and by this time the pains dissapered? i was checked out by my moms bfs dad (MD) and he said something about a strap muscle? but i dont think thats it, im 13, what could be the problem? thank you.
Chest Pain On Left Side Of My Chest?
January 21st, 2010Since this morning (Going on about.. 6 hours or so now).. I have had this chest pain that will just not go away. Its mostly on the left side of my chest and it has been radiating all over. My chest is pretty tight..I also have cramps underneath my ribcage.. They feel like the cramps you get in your sides after you exercise. Im SLIGHTLY nauseous.. not enough for me to be worrrying about running to the bathroom or anything like that. When I rest, the pain gets better and actually went away for a little bit today, but when I picked up my son, and walked up the stairs, it got pretty bad again. There is no pain in my left arm or back… Just in my chest. My mom said she thinks its gas.. So I took some GAS-X, and it seemed to have helped briefly (maybe it was all in my head though?) and now the pain is changing directions.. like Ill have the cramps under my ribcage, and then it’ll move up into my chest again. Im also wondering if its stress. Ive been prescribed Clonazepam, but Im nervous to take it because I dont want to get too loopy. I want to go to the hospital, but I dont want to sit there for hours just to have them send me home. Has anyone has symptoms like this before? What do you think it could be? Please help

Left Arm Pain And Breathing Issues, Ecg, Blood Work And Chest Xrays Were Normal?
January 17th, 2010I am a 21 year old female living in the Texas heat! About a month ago, I went to the ER because I was short of breath, I had some left arm pain, minor chest pain and I thought I might be having heart issues…although being 21 years old…it is very unlikely.
They ran an ECG, they did blood work, they took chest xrays and all was absolutely normal. They were unsure of the reasoning behind my issues but thought it might be GERD, or anxiety or something of the sort and then they sent me home. I am on 40mgs of prescription prilosec daily and it helps with the breathing somewhat it seems…it seems like I don’t have as much trouble breathing as frequently as I used to but it still comes and goes.
Well, ever since last weekend, I have had this twinge of burning pain that will come and go through out the day for 20 or 30 second spouts and then it just stops. When I press on it, it feels as if it is bruised, the skin looks normal around the area…sometimes the skin around the area itches a bit but other than that…nothing…
I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and OCD when I was 18…so mentally, I am under alot of stress and anxiety because I feel that something is always wrong with me so sometimes, I feel little aches and pains and it multitudes into something larger mentally for me.
I am going into my dr. tomorrow morning to request that I be referred to a cardiologist who can perform a stress test on me and try and get some answers to my issues…
I know that these symptoms resemble a heart attack just from reading tid bits about heart troubles here and there and want to know if since I had the ECG, blood work and chest xrays done there was any reason I should still be concerned that this be signs of heart trouble or a heart attack if the tests came back normal about a month ago…
I am really beginning to worry myself and feel that I might have a heart attack at any given moment.
I have also considered the fact that maybe I have a pinched nerve or something because it is a burning sensation and it really becomes painful when I have lifted something, when I move it a certain way or if I have my purse on my left shoulder….does this type of pain sound like heart pain or does it lean more toward anxiety and GERD/heart burn…
I really would like some serious answers please!!

I’ve had this condition for as long as I can remember. What could it be? I’m 19 years old, I don’t think I’m having a heart attack.
Any Idea What These Symptoms Could Be? Irritated Throat And Pain In Left Side?
January 7th, 2010I’ve been sick for like 6 weeks now. It started with me feeling like I was coming down with a cold. Then one night I started having chest pain and it felt like something was stuck in my throat. The next day I woke up with a headache, soar throat and really tired. I’ve also been having pain in the upper left side of my stomach it feels like something is pressing on my ribs and when I try to eat I can only eat small amounts because it feels like the food isn’t digesting. When I walk I start getting really out of breath and kind of dizzy. During the first week I was also having fevers and night sweats.
I’ve been to 3 different doctors a total of 4 times during september and they don’t know what’s wrong. The first doctor told me I have mono and gave me a cbc and urine test (but no actually mono test) which came back fine. When I went for the follow up visit they had me see a different doctor who said I don’t have mono and refused to test me for it because she said they only give the test if they REALLY think you have it and according to her I didn’t.
Then I went to a completely different doctor’s office and asked for the mono spot test, and they gave it but it was negative. So she gave me antibiotics, which haven’t helped. I’m still having pain in my chest and stomach left side my throat hurts on the right side, and when I look in my mouth I can see a white dot on my right tonsil. I’ve also been really tired and if I lay on the left side it hurts bad. It’s really worrying me and scarying me that I can’t figure out what’s wrong. I’m only 23 and I’ve never been sick this long before. It’s also strange because I was fine before and it seems like the symptoms came out of nowhere.
