Has Anyone Experienced Light Angina Pain In The Chest For A Long Time? And Stopped Eating A Lot?

January 16th, 2010

has anyone experienced light angina pain in the chest (when resting relaxed) which lasts more than few hours and you noticed the danger and stopped eating a lot and start eating less and low fat foods and got out of the dangerous situation of upcoming heart attack?
Is there warning signs like that before you have heart attack?

I Have Had Light Chest Pain For The Past Few Days Off And On But Sometimes They Are Sharp, Any Ideas?

October 6th, 2009

I have been having slight pains/ uncomfortable feelings in my chest on and off for the past couple days and sometimes they are sharp. It woke me up in the middle of the night a few nights ago but weakened so I went back to sleep but I have had these symptoms since. I am 24, 6’1 and weigh 190 and I believe in good health. I had heart xrays and an EKG last year and everything was good and all my blood work was perfect. I have no pain in my arm or anything that’s a sign of anything real serious. The pain is not overwhelming, just enough to make me worry about it. I called my Dr. and he gave me a prescription for Omeprazole 20 mg for reflux. I have been taking it for a few days and it’s made no major difference. I have heartburn often in the past and this is no heartburn kind of pain. The pain seems to lighten when I burp but would gas last this long? Does it take a few days for the meds to work? Any ideas? Thanks

Random Chest Pain, Light Headedness And Weakness. What Are Those Symptoms Of? Should I Be Worried??

September 20th, 2009

Worried, no. Concerned, yes. I’d schedule an appointment with my doctor. Of course if it concerns you that much, next time it happens go to the hospital.
It could be serious, then again it could just be stress. It also depends on the pain in the chest. If the pain is a “lightning pain” that “streaks” across the chest, it’s most likely stress. However if it radiates down your left arm or up the left side of your neck or jaw, see a doctor pronto.
