A little more info: It came on quite suddenly(within an hour) I’ve had cough/cold symptoms for the past couple of weeks (mucous, coughing, plugged ears/sinuses). Last night it started with a backache/headache and then my chest started to hurt. My wrists and elbows started to ache and I just felt terrible. My ears also hurt pretty bad and my throat. Not when I would swallow but my neck would just radiate pain…feeling like its coming from my throat and it went down into my chest? I couldn’t sleep all night as I was in aching pain. I don’t have a fever. This morning I feel a little better but all symptoms are still there and I’m very tired. Could this be the start of pneumonia…should I just give in and go get it checked out. I hate to go and just be told its just a virus.

Sometimes i want to cry from the pain. So i need to know what could be happening and what i should do. And if anyone knows what kind of pain this is. Please tell me. I am shitting my pants.
I Did Coke For The First Time In My Life On Friday Night And I Got A Chest Pain… What Does This Mean?
January 7th, 2010I’m a 19 year old guy and I did about 4 lines of coke for the first time ever on Friday night. Initially I was ok, but then I had a mild chest pain that lasted about an hour or so. It’s now Monday morning and I still have a slight discomfort in my chest. Does anyone know what this could mean? Someone said I have bruised my heart muscle and it needs a while to recover as I’d never done it before, but I worry too much and would appreciate any input. Thanks. Oh by the way, I am never doing it again!
Son Who Is 22 Has Been Having Pain In The Center Of His Chest Since Last Night?
October 7th, 2009He said it started while he was laying on the couch and he had just ate pizza. He said it feels like a pulled muscle and is a constant pain, but he hasn’t been doing anything strenuous. He said it gets worse when moving around and feels better when laying still. He said it is in the center of his chest and did not have any pain running down his arm or neck or any where else or any other symptoms. He is 22 and smokes . Is this his heart or could it be something else? He will not go to the doctor, I already tried to get him to go.
Woken Up Last Night By Sharp “tearing” Chest Pain, Should I Be Really Concerned?
October 6th, 2009I am currently being evaluated for autonomic dysfunction. My doctor got me in with a neurologist, but that’s not till July. Currently, my symptoms best fit with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (also called Mitral Valve Prolapse Syndrome) and I also shown several signs of connective tissue disorder (possibly Ehlers-Danlos). Anyways, I was a normal guy until my symptoms had sudden onset in January. I’ve had chest pain before, but I’ve never been woken up by it. It lasted for a couple minutes and then subsided, but comes back when I take a deep breath. If it was a heart attack or aortic dissection/rupture then I’m pretty sure I would feel way worse than just chest pain. It’s on the left side, right over my heart and inward toward the edge of my sternum. Any ideas? Please no sarcastic answers, I’m already dealing with enough as it is.
Pain In Chest, Waking Me Up At Night, 35 Weeks Pregnant!?
October 5th, 2009Hi, well im 35 weeks and 5 days pregnant. And before I begin I was just at my doctors appointment tuesday. And he doesnt know what is causing the pain exactly just what it might be. I was tested for toximia and preeclampsia and i do not have those, or didnt at the time of testing.
It started monday night from 9pm until tuesday 3-4pm. I was in severe pain, vommiting, and before this having several Bowel movements a day (which is not normal for me) and still has continued to be the same for the last almost week now.
the pain is in my chest, right under my beasts. and When I get it, I also get very bad pain in my back! Part of it I know is from my baby wedging his feet under my chest. I have to push in that spot to get him away from it, but it barely relieves any pain. IT hurts to breath when I get this pain, Walking doesnt help, sitting makes it worst, and laying on my left side relieves no pain or symptoms either. Hot showers, helped my back pain a little bit, but that is all. I had maybe 3 hours of sleep, and feel asleep with my hand pushing down under my chest to get some relief.
I woke up last night at 4am with severe pain in my chest, hurt to breath, i was fighting to get oxygen, and every breath hurt even more take in again. i took a shower, tried breathign exercises, walking nothing helped. I finally was able to lay on my right side, and hold my chestpushing down a bit, and finally passed out maybe after 30 minutes. It felt like contractions i beleive… in my stomach but it was very high up! Ive read about braxton hicks however they all say its suppose to be “painless” I would rate my pain a 10-11 when this happens out of 10!!
HAs anyone else had this? My mom thinks im going to go into labour early because i have this 3 times now in the last 6 weeks however the very first time only lasted an hour.
my baby hasnt dropped. he was very low and still is low, however somehow he is higher up and more up top now!!
Oh and my doctor sugguested It could be all or some of these(heart burn, baby hitting nerves in chest, pulled/strained muscles in chest and now sides from vomiting, and baby just getting bigger)
Has anyone else had this. I really can’t take much more of this. I know I cant take another month of getting these pains, I get in so much pain I cant even cry it hurts so bad. I know actual labour is going to be worst but its like being slowly tortured and unable to breathe.
