For about a year and a half now, I have been experiencing this sharp, dull, isolated, not that painful, pain on the left side of my chest. it seems to be right under my left nipple. It is not an all over pain. i can pinpoint its axact location when it happens. It only happens when i wake up.. the pain itself lasts for about 4 SEC and goes away for 5 MIN and then comes back again for 4 SEC. the whole process lasts for about 15 min (not the pain itself) It does not wake me up at night nor is it a horrible pain. It hurts but in a dull stabing sense. when this happens i have no other symptoms. just the pain. no tightness, short breathing ect.. I have done so much research and can not pin point exactly what it is. some of it points to angina but some doesnt so idk… if someone has some other insight I would plz like to know!! thank you!! – More info below-

I have a history of fam smokers (mom, dad ect)

February 28th, 2010recently i somehow caught the flu (or i have symptoms like the flu) on my right lung (when i cough, my lung shakes or trembles). lately a very annoying pain comes up on my right pectoralis, it hurts a little when i breath, and it does hurt when i stretch the muscle in a certain way. what could it be?
What Could Cause This Awful Pain In My Chest And Back?
February 28th, 2010I have been getting an awful pain in my upper chest and upper back, it hurts to take a deep breath, and nausea. It happens about once a month for about 4 days, 3 to 5 hours each time. I have seen doctors for other problems and they don’t listen and blow me off. February 27th, 2010I had these symptoms about 6 weeks ago. A doctor said it might be strep but a throat culture and blood work came up negative. He said it might just be a virus and would go away on its own. It did but is now back minus the bruises but with some mild chest pain. Anyone have any ideas. Is it a virus back for more or something more serious?

Severe Sudden Pain On Right Hand Side Of Chest?
February 26th, 2010Yesterday morning I had a small shooting pain lasting about 1 second but was painful enough to shock me, last night I woke up with uncomfortable pain in my chest, and this morning I had a sudden attack of severe pain in the centre of my chest and to the right of my chest radiating through my shoulder and also the back of my chest. Its left me painful/sore all day in my chest/shoulder/back of chest? Help? This was severe pain, really bad shocking pain.
