Someone I know, a man in his 20s, has been having some slight chest pains lately. This person is only a few pounds overweight and is also VERY active–lots of cardio and other exercise. He NEVER has chest pain while exercising though. Any ideas what could be causing these pains?

February 26th, 2010i’ve been having chest pains all day. i’m over weight. but my pupils are still dialating, my arm isn’t numb, nor i am not dizzy either. i know what is a gas pain. i’m scared if i might be having a massive heart attack. i’m 270lbs. someone please tell me what this pain i have might be. it also hurts inside my shoulder but a little lower. it hurts when i take deep breaths or when i move around. whats a chest pain and indigestion.

My pain goes from my chest and at the same moment to my back both on the left side. February 25th, 2010For almost a year now i’ve been having different symptoms of depression. Sometimes i have terrible thoughts about my mother dying or myself. I dont want anything bad to happen to her of course, but these thoughts just fill my mind.
Sometimes its physical, i dont cut myself or anything like that…but sometimes i become very anxious and get chest pains, and i feel weak and i become dizzy.
My weight is an issue too…it goes up and down every single day. I’m very concerned about my weight so i weight myself every single day. Sometimes, i force myself to throw up.
I have feelings of withdrawl sometimes…i dont do any heavy drugs, the only thing i have done and still do is smoke marijuana but never anything else…
I cry REALLY easily. specially when i start thinking about my life. i tear at any moment even if i’m just watching some television.
I dont want to wake up in the mornings anymore because i hate having to go thru the day..i get aggrivated REALLY easily and everything pisses me off.
Its super hard for me to talk to anyone about how i feel so i always fake it when i’m around people..
whats wrong and how can i fix it? please help.

I Have Been Under Alot Of Stress, Getting Chest Pain, And Then I Passed Out?
February 25th, 2010I have also been having lightheadedness and headaches. I went to the doctor about all this and wanted a referral for a cardiologist and an MRI. I got a cardiologist referal (from the nurse, actually) but the doctor didn’t see fit to do the same for my head. Even though I was having chest pains before passing out, she insisted that the next day I go to get my blood drawn six times over 5 hours to test for hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. I have never in my life had problems with blood sugar, or shown any symptoms of it, not has anyone in my family.I think there may be a problem with my heart.Since I passed out on Christmas day, I constantly feel somewhat weak, with chest pains and palpitations.I am not at all impressed with this doctor’s sense-she misdiagnosed me before. But despite all this,my Dad refuses to switch me saying he thinks she is pretty smart. Based on my experience, I can’t imagine why. February 24th, 2010I’m 2 days late on my period, and yesterday i started getting this sharp pain, it’s not all the time, it’s like on an off, sometimes it hurts other times it dont, is it normal? is is like a pregnancy symptom, or somthing i should get checked out?
