I went to the doctor for chest pain and my mom ended up mentioning how another doctor said I had unexplained weight loss (ribs messed up, nothing to do with AIDS). I’ve got the weight loss, and the doctor is testing me for it to be on the safe side. I really don’t have any of the other symptoms as far as I can tell. I mean, I’ve only had sex twice. One time was with a virgin. So, I, in all likelyhood have nothing to worry about. Nonetheless, I’m kinda sorda worried to death. Also, can normal blood tests pick this up? I’ve had several of those and nothing ever came up.

I’m also a hypochondriac which makes things worse..
anywho..
I’ve been having heart palpitations, and skipped beats for a bout a month now….
and my chest hurts a lot on the left side near the bottom of my ribs about where my heart is…
it doesn’t hurt 24/7 but most of the day i have pains that come and go..
sometimes the pain is minor..about a 3 on a scale of 1-10…and other times (mainly at night) it hurts at about a 5 or 6…
should i be worried that i have heart problems, or is this normal for people who have panic disorder?
it’s been keeping me up at night…and i’ve missed bout 3 nights of sleep this week so i’d like some advice..

September 14th, 2009Regardless of other symptoms, chest pain should never be ignored. See a doctor. Some of your other symptoms may be due to a cold or flu. I don’t think you have swine flu. Also FYI, most cases of swine flu in the US have been mild. I think people have been over reacting to it.

My uncle and granddad died of a bloodclot to their heats. But they had no warning signs. So I need to know why do they get on here if they are that concerned for their life that they might be having a heart attack etc than getting to a hospital that will treat them if something is wrong.It could take about 20 minutes of more to get an answer on here, and only less than 5 minutes to die.
