It has happened to me before. When I breathe in I get a sharp pain in the middle of my chest. But it only happens when I take really deep breaths.

January 9th, 2010i woke up this morning and my chest felt kind of sore. its alot like when you have cold and if you cough alot your chest hurts when you inhale. and i didnt have this yesterday. it doesnt hurt so much when i breathe normal, more when i take a deep breath but i feel like i need to take alot of deep breaths today because of this. another symptom i have is sharp pains. it happened twice today. it would happen completely randomly and i would feel a sharp pain when i inhaled.
this is the first time this have happened and i was fine yesterday. i just woke up with these pains. any ideas as to what this could be?
i thought maybe i slept wrong but if i wake up with a pain from sleeping weird its gone after a few hours. this has been all day.

I’ve been tested so many times for heart problems and the doctors have always taken it back to reflux. It’s very frightening. I also have a lot of anxiety which I do have medication for. December 29th, 2009For two days now I’ve been experiencing sharp pain in my lower chest/upper stomach area. It feels sort of like heart burn, but not exactly the same. It comes and goes. Sometimes it’s on the right side, sometimes the left, sometimes in the middle. I do have acid reflux, but I’ve been taking my medicine and haven’t had any trouble with it for a few weeks. It also doesn’t feel the same as my acid reflux. I don’t know if this is something I should worry about and see my doctor or if it will just pass. Any thoughts? Thanks.
Sharp Chest Pain- Thoughts As To What Might Be The Cause?
December 25th, 2009I get sharp pains on my left side of the chest area near my heart. I have been having the pain for about 2 years now. I’m 27 and in fairly good health. I don’t take any mediations and I walk a lot during the day. I had x-rays done and my doctor said everything looked fine, but the pain is still there. I had my cholesterol checked this last February and it showed my HDL was 70 HDL and my LDL was 204LDL. I was told that my cholesterol was not high enough to worry about but I wonder if I’m on the fast track for a stroke or heart attack or heat disease and that’s why I have these chest pains. Can anyone give me some ideas what might be causing this? Could it be asthma? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
What Could Cause A Lump To Pop Out After A Sharp Pain In The Chest?
December 18th, 2009I was laying in bed a little bit ago and got a sharp and quick pain in my chest, at the very top of the left breast. When I went to rub it, I felt a hard and sore lump that was not there an hour ago when I showered. The pain is gone so I do now feel this is an emergency but I am very very nervous and wondering what this could be. Any ideas? Maybe something I should do to treat it?
