about 2 weeks ago i started experiencing upper back pain on the right side of my body around the shoulder blade area, about 2 days later i noticed when i took deep breaths i had an increasing pain in the upper right chest area (about 3-4″ up from the nipple). ive tried aleve, motrin, asprin, and tylenol and aleve seems to dull the pain slightly but not much. i didnt take pain meds hardly at all, probabally once on the first day when i noticed back pain and thats all. about after a week had finally passed the pain almost all went away then it came back again but now its on the left side and has the same symptoms. i dont have health insurance (due to a forgotten bill – resumes beginning of next month).
then ill see doc if it dont go away by then. <– i know that sounds bad

I Have Chest Pain On The Left Side, What Is It?
February 6th, 2010It’s kind of a pressure when I’m not breathing, but when I do I would describe it as a sharp pain. It also hurts a little when I press on my chest. It’s fine when I first wake up and progresses throughout the day. It’s constant pain and not episodes. I doubt it’s a heart attack considering I’m 18, exercise 2+ hours 5-6 days a week, don’t eat too much junk, and there is no history of heart conditions in my family. Don’t recommend I go to the ER unless you’re paying.

I Have This Pain In The Side Of My Chest And Sometimes Around My Lung Area.. (more Information Side) Help?
February 4th, 2010For months, now, I have been having this dull achey pain in the left side of my chest and down the both sides of my rib cage. The chest pain is there maybe 50% out of the day and the pain in the ribs are shooting pains that are difficult to pinpoint. I don’t have Costochondritis because when I touch my ribs, they don’t hurt. The pain is UNDERNEATH the ribs. I read somewhere that you can’t feel pain in the lungs.. so what is this? I quit smoking on the 25th of this year.. only been smoking for a year and a half.. I got a chest X-ray done a few months ago that showed i just had a few granules in my lungs. Doc said it was nothing serious. Has anyone else ever had these symptoms and found a diagnosis for it? Much Appreciation to any answers. Thank you ![]()

I Get A Chest Pain On The Left Side Of My Chest That I Only Get After I Eat Greasy Food. Why?
February 4th, 2010My mother was a Nurse’s Aide and said it’s most likely gas. I’m 21 and have gone up and down in weight over the years. Don’t know if that’s relevant. I’m looking for a possible answer here because I don’t have health insurance to see a doctor. But last time I had chest pains when I had insurance in ’07, cardiologist said I was perfectly healthy.
Chest Pain On Left Side, Stress Activated?
January 31st, 2010I am 40 year old male and diabetic for past 5 years. I gets chest pain ocassionally for the past 2 years. It is tolerable but it gives a feeling that my chest is blown up. I seen many Dr s and ECG were taken but they couldn’t find anything abnormal.
Sometimes this feeling comes when I get tensed at work and vanish after few hours. Sometimes it stays for 2 to 3 days. If I rub on chest area this feeling increases.
This comes only on my left chest and sometimes at the back of left shoulders. One Dr suggested that this is sign of Asthma.
Does anybody have similiar symptoms. Since it is at left side I am afraid this is heart related. If anyone knows please help
