February 17th, 2010Sat-started to have sore throat, nose started to feel a little blocked. Sun-Blocked nose, achey joints and temperature. Mon-Same symptoms but felt a little less lethargic, by the evening chest pain and a chesty cough had developed. Tue(today)- achey joints, chest pain, tickly throat, blocked nose and head. Do you think today will be my worse day? I don’t want to be ill for Christmas

Often, heart problems present with more than just chest pain. Other symptoms that could signal a heart problem include weakness, shortness of breath, pain that radiates to your jaw or shoulder, fainting, nausea, fast heart beat, confusion–too many to mention.
And I’ve been having chest pain recently. I’m in great shape, but sometimes when i have the random sharp pains (which started recently-about 2 weeks ago) i get strange feelings in my upper arm and shoulder. Also, I have hyperthyroidism which causes loss of concentration. Sometimes when I’m talking i get off track and my mind goes completely blank. Could this count for the confusion listed above?
I’m 13 years old.

Joint pain/ joint cracking
muscle pain and weakness
occasional butterfly rash
nausea in the morning/vomiting sometimes during attacks
tingling and cold fingers
fatigue
hair loss
memory problems
shaky hands/ sometimes unable to write and hold pen
insomnia and leg jerks in sleep
pain in chest and inability to breathe during attacks
head feels hot sometimes
I had four attacks –> June, August, October, and December of this year.
My ANA came back negative and my doctor says it’s not lupus or any other autoimmune. What should I do now?

January 8th, 2010I have had fatigue, constant neck pain and headaches, blurred vision, and overall have just felt so horrible almost every day that I can barely get through the day. I have had fleeting chest pains the past couple of days. The other symptoms have been going on for several months. I did an internet search and the only thing that seemed to match is high blood pressure. I haven’t had it checked lately because I don’t have insurance and have not been to the doctor. I also have type 1 diabetes. (I am 26)
Any Idea What These Symptoms Could Be? Irritated Throat And Pain In Left Side?
January 7th, 2010I’ve been sick for like 6 weeks now. It started with me feeling like I was coming down with a cold. Then one night I started having chest pain and it felt like something was stuck in my throat. The next day I woke up with a headache, soar throat and really tired. I’ve also been having pain in the upper left side of my stomach it feels like something is pressing on my ribs and when I try to eat I can only eat small amounts because it feels like the food isn’t digesting. When I walk I start getting really out of breath and kind of dizzy. During the first week I was also having fevers and night sweats.
I’ve been to 3 different doctors a total of 4 times during september and they don’t know what’s wrong. The first doctor told me I have mono and gave me a cbc and urine test (but no actually mono test) which came back fine. When I went for the follow up visit they had me see a different doctor who said I don’t have mono and refused to test me for it because she said they only give the test if they REALLY think you have it and according to her I didn’t.
Then I went to a completely different doctor’s office and asked for the mono spot test, and they gave it but it was negative. So she gave me antibiotics, which haven’t helped. I’m still having pain in my chest and stomach left side my throat hurts on the right side, and when I look in my mouth I can see a white dot on my right tonsil. I’ve also been really tired and if I lay on the left side it hurts bad. It’s really worrying me and scarying me that I can’t figure out what’s wrong. I’m only 23 and I’ve never been sick this long before. It’s also strange because I was fine before and it seems like the symptoms came out of nowhere.
What Are The Symptoms Of A Nervous Breakdown?
January 7th, 2010Seriously, what are the symptoms of a nervous breakdown. This question is for my dad. He seems to think hes having a nervous breakdown. He is having numbness in his left hand’s ring finger and thumb. He says usually the numbness starts at the tips of his fingers and works it way up his arm. He is also having some sort of chest pain. He will NOT goto the doctor. My mom and i have tried convencing him. If its not a nervous breakdown then what is it. **hes also been in alot of stress the last 2 or 3 months**
