Can someone help me find out what I have? I have been to the doctors and a lot of my tests are abnormal but they cannot find the exact cause of my symptoms and test results. I am a 24 year old female. I have a pacemaker for 3 years now. Here is a list of my symptoms: chest pain on and off (same spot always, shortness of breath easily, rapid heart rate( now resolved most of the time due to my ablation of my heart), dizziness, weakness. My doctors so far have diagnosed me with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. My oxygen drops only with minimal exercise from 100% to 80% in 5 minutes jogging on tread mill. The doctors have no clue why with exertion my heart rate goes to 160’s (after ablation) and oxygen down to 80% with minimal exercise. Please help me. I do not have faith in doctors anymore.

Could Chest Pains And Shortness Of Breath Be Symptoms Of Stress?
January 1st, 2010Rather than go into a brief life story of how I’ve been in a couple of toxic relationships in the last year I’ll just say how I’ve recently set to changing my lifestyle this includes eating properly going to bed and getting up at a proper time and todays been the first day I actually gone out on my bike (pushbike) in almost a year.
My finances could be better but I suppose everyone could say that I’ve had to make a lot of life altering decisions lately too, and start on my career as a writer.
I’m 32 years old, (on a good day I’m 9 and a half stone and 5’11 in height) yep I know I’m not a healthy weight for my height or age but thats the least of my problems could these chest pains (in fact they alternate to my stomach as well) and shortness of breath be stress related?

December 31st, 2009Im really sorry that its kind of long but i really wanted to be detailed so you could help me and give me good answers.
ok so im 16 years old and im a girl, i have Moderate Aortic Stenosis, Mild Aortic Regurgitation, a bicuspid aortic valve and an enlarged aorta. Since these problems have similar symptoms is it possible that my symptoms(chest pain, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness ect.) are worse, because i have all these problems? because i get REALLY bad chest pains and palpitations and really bad shortness of breath(cant even run up a set of stairs in my house without having trouble breathing) also i get dizzy all the time but my cardiologist thinks im fine(says my aortic stenosis hasnt progressed since last year) but its really annoying and really worries me. my mom has scheduled me with another cardiologist for a 2nd opinion so i just want to know what people on here think.
so my questions are
1. is it possible my symptoms are made worse because of 4 conditions with similar symptoms?
2. Is it common to have all 4 of these heart problems in a 16 years old girl?(just wondering)
3. when do you think i would need surgery?(just wondering)
so the 1st question is my most important the other are just curious thoughts. so any information that you can give me would be GREAT.
oh and if it makes a difference, im on a Contact sports restriction(i cant play contact sports) because my aorta is to close to the surface of my chest. when i run/do any endurance i get extremely out of breath within a minute and i get chest pain during it and it hurts really bad. and sometimes i get shortness of breath when im just sitting on the couch(i feel like i cant get enough air type feeling), its not really scary just annoying. and i get heart palpitations often,

Chest And Heart Symptoms…?

I have been having some chest pain for about two weeks. At first, it felt like a cramp type feeling in my upper left chest. Now, two weeks later, I am having a shortness of breath type feeling in addition to a racing heartbeat feeling.
The doctor did a chest x-ray and EKG. Everything was normal. Is this anything to be concerned about. Any ideas?

December 27th, 2009Their is this girl at school her name is Jasmine she is always complaining about chest pains, stomach pains, sickness and back aches, she also goes to sleep everyday in class, is their a possibility that she could be pregnant, She explained to us that she can’t be pregnant because her period still comes on every month, but every month it comes on, on a different day is there still a possibility of her being pregnant.

When I Get Depressed I Get Strange Symptoms Such As Chest Pains And Twitching. What Should I Do?

I’m 18 years old. When I become depressed, I get symptoms such as Chest Pains and Twitching. The Chest Pains almost feel as if i’m being shot in the middle of my chest several times. They’re usually 20-30 seconds apart from each other. (almost like a heart beat, but much slower) The twitching only occurs from the chest up. (arms, neck, and face) It occurs every 10-30 seconds. This never happens when i’m not depressed.
Also, I seem to be extremely careless when i’m depressed. I can’t stop thinking about all crap in my life. I almost feel as if it would be easier to give everything up.
Are these symptoms normal? I’m extremely scared, please help.
(ps. I look a lot younger than 18 years old and i’m shorter than most people my age. Could this have anything to do with it?)
