Ok, i was sitting here, (about 15 mins ago) i get a sharp pain in my chest, then my left arm goes numb and i get light headed like im going to pass out, i run out to my parents, and by this time the pains dissapered? i was checked out by my moms bfs dad (MD) and he said something about a strap muscle? but i dont think thats it, im 13, what could be the problem? thank you.

Has Anyone Had Severe Chest Pain That Was Not A Heart Problem?
December 31st, 2009I am having severe chest pain and shortness of breath for two weeks now, it seems to be getting worse. I have been to the ER twice and admitted once to be monitored and given fluid for low blood pressure.
I was discharged and told my heart is fine, but the pain in my chest feels like a knife through my chest and back, neck pain and shooting arm pains.
Has anyone else had similar symptoms that was not the heart but another problem? If so, what was the cause and what did you do to get rid of it.
(I have no family or personal history of heart dieases and I have no history of illness.)

December 18th, 2009I’ve been on two rounds of antibiotics and steroids. I have been sick for 6 weeks now and for 4 weeks I have had a bad deep cough. The doctors say it sounds like pneumonia but are baffled by my clear x-rays. My symptoms are extreme fatigue chest pain and a low fever. They are putting me on more steroids. Suggestions? Please help!

December 12th, 2009I have bad back pain and a small bit of pain in the left of my chest. The pain in the left of my chest feels like sun burn but I have not been on holidays since last July and it rains here all the time in Ireland.
I also have a kinda bubbly feeling in my stomach.
My back pain really hurts when I sit down and it sometimes feels like someone is stabbing me in the chest.
I do not have any asthma or any other conditions.

Diagnosed With Anxiety, Is That Really What’s Causing My Chest Pain?
December 12th, 2009I went to the doctor a few times this past month for a number of ailments, the doctor said I have anxiety. I had back pain for 2 months now, as I pulled my Rhomboid at the gym, but also neck and chest pains! The pain isn’t that I feel short of breath, but my heart starts to race (even when I’m calm!) and my chest starts to hurt. Not one side, but both sides. It feels like my lungs.
I’m opening a business also, I’m stressed about that. I’m also worried about a lot of things, but generally I’m a calm person. Stress has never been a factor in my life! I deal with stress very well, or at least maybe I thought I did.
Is chest pain really an anxiety symptom like the doctor said? He seemed to be not worried at all about it!
