January 14th, 2010There was a huge red sign that said notify a staff member if experiencing chest pain or distress. I was having chest pain that went to the left shoulder. I thought I was having a heart attack. The RN continued to call in two more patients who were clearly not in any distress. Should I file a complaint with the hospital.
My Doctor Told Me I Have Hypothyroid, But The Synthroid She Put Me On Gives Me Chest Pain. Is She Wrong?
September 22nd, 2009She said my TsH level was 5.2 and she put me on .5 micrograms of Synthroid. That gives me chest pains, which is a sign of overdose. I have classic symptoms of hypothyrodism (fatigue, dry skin, irritability, can’t lose weight), but it makes me wonder if the diagnosis is off since I can’t take the medicine that’s supposed to correct it. Thoughts? Experiences?
