For the last month or so I have been experiencing some discomfort in my torso. For the last few days it has been more noticeable. Its on the left side. It isn’t painful, but it’s more of a nuisance. I seem to feel it more when I am doing nothing (like watching TV).
As for the location, it is about as the level of my elbow and right about where my lowest rib is. It seem to be a little swollen, but nothing you can see (you would have to feel both sides to sense it). It also seems to flair up more when I am tired or stressed.
I have looked up the symptoms online, but really can’t find anything on it. Any Idea? I know I probably need to see a doctor. I will as soon as I can.

February 25th, 2010I have also been having lightheadedness and headaches. I went to the doctor about all this and wanted a referral for a cardiologist and an MRI. I got a cardiologist referal (from the nurse, actually) but the doctor didn’t see fit to do the same for my head. Even though I was having chest pains before passing out, she insisted that the next day I go to get my blood drawn six times over 5 hours to test for hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar. I have never in my life had problems with blood sugar, or shown any symptoms of it, not has anyone in my family.I think there may be a problem with my heart.Since I passed out on Christmas day, I constantly feel somewhat weak, with chest pains and palpitations.I am not at all impressed with this doctor’s sense-she misdiagnosed me before. But despite all this,my Dad refuses to switch me saying he thinks she is pretty smart. Based on my experience, I can’t imagine why. Since I have to go back to college in NC on January third, should I call for referrals for NC doct

February 5th, 2010I Saw my Dr. and they thought it was my gallbladder, but had several tests run after going to ER with terrible burning and chest pain and they said gallbladder showed no stones. Since I was also having chest pain, they checked out my heart through multiple tests…also fine. ER doc said maybe I have ulcers… so I have taken prilosec OTC for a month and a half now but no relief. I am so tired of this pain, and I really do not think it is related to my stomach, as I have no pain or burning in my stomach area. I have felt bloated at times, but not often, and never abdominal pain. Only terrible burning in back and into chest along with burping quite often. ANYONE, PLEASE HELP if you have had symptoms like this. I can’t afford to keep going to Drs and getting no relief…it is so frustrating. Thanks

January 9th, 2010I randomly get sharp pains in my chest and they usually don’t last very long, but the last time I got it it lasted a long time and whenever I moved or exerted myself I would get a sharp pain. What Does It Mean When You Have A Sharp Pain Under Your Left Breast That Shoots Up To Your Shoulder/arm?
September 12th, 2009I’m 16 + i have since about mid-march been having really bad panick attacks. To where i think i’m going to die + tremors…etc. I also think i’m my heart is going to stop + freak out. The last attack was in the beginning of June…i called the ambulance b/c i was convinced my heart had stopped. They hooked me up to monitors + said that i was fine.
Since then…i’ve been having really bad random pains above my rib cage on the left side. I looked it up + it said that i could have PCS-Precordial Catch Syndrome. They listed things that i should look out for if its not that. I have almost all of the symptoms::
Chest pain that extends into the left side of the jaw or arm
a cough that produces phlegm
Extreme anxiety with the pain or a feeling of “impending doom”
Blueness or paleness of the lips or fingernails
An irregular, rapid, or pounding heart rate
Marked difficulty breathing or catching one’s breath
So, i really think that you could help.
