2 months ago, I experienced flu-like symptoms. Around this time, I started developing chest (tightness which causes shortness of breath) and back pain (stabbing, aching) that is not muscular. The chest pain location varies from my upper and lower portion of both sides of my chest. Sometimes it is right over my heart. Sometimes the pain appears to originate around my sternum. I have been experiencing these symptoms for over 2 months and they have gotten progressively worse within and across days. I do not have Lyme’s disease, gallbladder disease, acid reflux, or abnormal CBC (except low vitamin D) levels. Recently I have developed a transient slightly tingly sensation in my right fingers following tightness around my armpit (auxiliary?) area which triggers my fingers to turn cold. I also have irritable bowel syndrome. What could all this mean? PLEASE HELP!!

December 20th, 2009Okay, so I have a low fever, pain in my chest, dryness and soreness in my throat, and short gasps of breath.
When I inhale, exhale, or even speak, I feel scratchiness in my throat. It can’t be heard by others, but I can feel the dryness.
I’ve had these symptoms since yesterday, but nothing seems to have gotten better nor worse.
If anyone has any idea what’s going on to me, please tell me.
Also, don’t hesitate to ask for more information.

I’m on a Breathing Treatment. And Anti-Biotics right now. The Breathing Treatment’s for my cough (open my lungs more) and my Anti-Biotics are for my Scrodum. Is it serious, or not?

Im Having Bad Chest Pains And Having Allergy Symptoms? Wahts Wrong With Me.. Can I Treat It. Im 6 Months Prego
October 21st, 2009Sounds like you may have developed a bit of asthma. Have you had allergies all your life? Does allegies and asthma run in your family? If so, this could very well be the answer.
Asthma is often linked to allergies, and the two often occur in pairs. Since you are having chest pains, that seems to make me feel that you might be having tightness of chest, a common asthma symptom.
I have, however, heard that on occasion, when a woman is pregnant (like you say you are) their sinuses can swell slightly, resulting in allergy like symptoms. But I have not heard of chest tightness with that so far.
Less likely, it could be a more serious problem, which you should definitely get to a doctor for.

October 16th, 2009i’m having pain around some of my ribs on the left side. it started a few days ago, and it hurts alot sometimes while other times, it doesnt really bother me. this has happened a few times before. my chest around my ribs will hurt kinda bad for like a week or so, then it goes away. and it’s always at least a couple months apart. thanks for your help!
